I’ve always struggled with balance. Like many people, I naturally gravitated toward the things I enjoyed—learning, relationships, personal growth—while unintentionally neglecting areas like finances, home maintenance, and doctor’s appointments.

It wasn’t that I didn’t care about those things. I just didn’t realize how much I was overlooking them until I felt the consequences—missed appointments, a messy home, and financial stress creeping up on me. I needed a way to step back and see the bigger picture of my life.

The Overview Feature provides a breakdown of your Key Values, Objectives, Silver Keys, and Cool Things, showing how many items belong to each category. It’s designed to help you:

How to Use the Overview Feature in the Essentialize App

You can start bringing balance to your life, too! Just download the Essentialize app from the Play Store or App Store and follow these steps:

1️⃣ Open the Overview Screen

Located in the tabs on the Values, Objectives, Cool Things, and Silver Keys screens.

2️⃣ View Your Breakdown

See how many Key Values, Objectives, Cool Things, and Silver Keys are categorized into different life areas.

3️⃣ Analyze Your Priorities

Notice which categories dominate your focus and which ones are underrepresented. In my case, almost half of my values are related to health while I have zero in learning.

4️⃣ Adjust as Needed

If certain areas are lacking, set new objectives or values to bring more balance into your life. For example, I should reflect on what I value regarding my personal development.
